How to run applications with administrator privileges

Running an application with administrator privileges can be a great way to resolve problems with certain applications that requires elevated privileges to run properly. Running on administrator privileges means that the applications gets maximum freedom in your computer. Applications like command prompt need administrator privileges to function properly. The downside of this is that if your give a malicious program administrator rights, it can bring down your entire system. Therefore only give administrator privileges to applications which you trust.

To Run an application with administrator privileges follow these steps:


1. Go to the folder where the application exists.

2. Right click on the application and go to 'Compatibility' tab and put a tick on "Run this application with administrator privileges"

3. Choose OK.
