Windowed Up

Here you can find  the firmware for Dlink DSL 2750U for the hardware revision v1. The default firmware supplied is 1.02 and the 1.06 update contains many bug-fixes and performance improvements over 1.02. Please note that this is only for the indian version and that it may or may not work with others. Improvements over 1.02 include a much more stable dsl link and 3g compatibility.

This version has not been officially released in the support website as it doesn't have any firmwares associated with the hardware revision v1. It was obtained directly from customercare support.

To install,

Go to 192.168.1.1 via a browser.

Login with username and password ( Default password: admin. Default username: admin)

Go to "MANAGEMENT" tab.

Click on "Firmware Update"

Browse to the file you downloaded and click on "Update Firmware".

That's it.

Windows 10 is great. Finally, it seems as though Microsoft is  listening to their user base rather than imposing it's new ideologies upon them.

However, unlike it's predecessors, windows 10 doesn't have the direct option to disable Windows Update. This means that the users are going to have to dig a little deeper into the OS to disable it.

This however, is by design. Microsoft says that the windows will not receive a new overhaul in its future but rather small incremental updates that is intended for bug-fixes and new features. To sum up, There will be no windows 11, or 12 for that matter and updates will be served via Windows Update completely.

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)". If this is the error you get when trying to run black flag, this post is for you. The root of this problem is the corruption of one or more .dll files black flag requires to run. .dll files which belongs to directx is most likely the corrupted one. They can be found at "C:/Windows/system32/" if your are using 32bit windows and in "c:/Windows/SysWOW64/" if you are using a 64-bit windows. All of the files which start with d3d belong to directx. Note: if you are using 64-bit windows, there will be directx files in both system32 and syswow64.

To fix this issue, you need to replace these files with fresh ones. Re-installing directx will not resolve this issue because when  the setup detects the file, it automatically skips ahead instead of overwriting. In my specific case, the problem was to a file named "D3DX9_43.dll" You will have to try removing all the directx files from  the folders mentioned above and then re-install directx (Or else you will have to re-install windows). All the files that start with "d3d" belong to directx. They can be safely removed. However not all directx files start with d3d. That is the tricky part.

I recommend that you first remove all the files with "d3d" in the file-name and  re-install directx, and then try to run black flag. If it doesn't work, try removing these 24 files and then re-install directx.
First try the xinput1_3.dll.

If Windows boots into the desktop you can follow these steps:

1.  Run command prompt as administrator. (Don't know how? Click here)

2. Type in sfc /scannow and press enter.

3. Wait until the process is finished and restart your pc.

Done...

If Windows Doesn't Boot Into Desktop

1. Go to 'Advanced Options' by pressing and holding f8 button after powering your pc.

3. In it choose 'Repair your computer' option and move through the steps until you are presented with a window asking you to choose a tool.

4. In it choose 'Command Prompt'

5. Type in sfc /scannow and press enter.

6. Wait for it to be finished and restart the pc
